Mercy Wamwara, DNP, MSN, RN

Chief Nursing Officer

Mercy brings over 13 years of healthcare experience focused on nursing leadership in post-acute and acute sites of care in Ohio. Her most recent role was serving as the nursing leader at a rehab hospital, with previous management roles in critical care nursing. In her early career, she served as a Pharmacy Technician. Mercy maintains a certification in Stroke from the National Institute of Health and has served on Stroke Alert Teams. She also has a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and maintains affiliations with several professional nurse organizations. Mercy has presented on various topics, such as a TED Talk on Women Empowerment. She published an article on Clinical Counseling of Newly Diagnosed Hypertensive Patients of African American Ethnicity. She has served as an ESL Translator and Mentor for Immigrant Children.

Mercy obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSN) from Capella University and is a licensed Registered Nurse in Ohio. She achieved an Associate Degree in Pharmacy from the Kenya Medical Training College.
