Gary came to Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital to recover from a massive stroke, which he suffered while he was on vacation. When he arrived, he was unable to walk, get out of bed, or perform most of his daily activities.
Gary underwent weeks of grueling rehabilitation during which he gave his all. He was motivated to regain his function and return home with his wife. Day by day, he improved his ability to eat, bathe, dress, and walk.
After 41 days of dedication and hard work, it was finally time for Gary to “graduate” from rehab. With pride, he stood and walked to “ring the bell” and signal his amazing accomplishment. Gary was delighted to be discharged home with his wife.
